New to the University, or moving to one of our supported departments? Start by making sure your UCSBNetID is active, then send us an account request. Then, if you would like help connecting a computer to one of our networks, send us a help request.

Use the Identity Manager to activate or verify your account. If you're not sure about your UCSBNetID, please contact your department's MSO.

Complete and sign the Computing Access Request Form (CARF) to obtain a GRIT account.
