Wireless & Guest Networks
Wireless networking is available in some parts of the buildings served by the GRIT Network.
Overview
All departmental conference rooms have wireless, and some research groups have extended wireless service into their labs or offices. If wireless is available in your area, it provides best-effort access to departmental and Internet computing resources. Our networks will appear in your network list as: ADD NETWORK NAMES HERE. Instructions for connecting to these networks follow:
Networks

These secure networks are for primary systems such as laptop computers. If you have a system currently connected via an Ethernet cable, and would like to switch it to wireless, this is the network you use. To use these networks, please open a help request or contact help@grit.ucsb.edu, as we have to reconfigure our equipment to recognize your system's wireless interface.
